This Privacy Policy explains how To A Tea Delis, LLC (“To A Tea Delis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website, including job applications, contact requests, and optional text-message enrollment. To A Tea Delis is an independent McAlister's Deli franchisee.
Information we collect
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, and message details.
- Application information: work-location and role preferences, availability, potential start date, work experience, referral source, age eligibility confirmation, schedule commitment, Sweet TEA scenario and reflection responses, and basic restaurant-skills responses and score.
- Communication records: whether, when, and how you consented to text messages; recognized opt-out, opt-in, or help keywords; delivery records; and messages we send about your application. Free-form replies to the automated SMS number are not routed to a manager, and their content is not retained by the application.
- Application analytics: an anonymous browser-session identifier, application stages viewed or completed, selected role category, broad time ranges, referral category, and coarse country or state/region supplied by our hosting network.
- Technical and security information: basic request, device, network, and fraud-prevention data generated when you use the website. We do not intentionally save an IP address in our application-analytics table. To limit automated form abuse, the server temporarily stores a keyed, non-reversible connection fingerprint rather than the raw network address.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, banking information, medical information, or other highly sensitive documents through these forms.
How we use information
- Review and administer employment applications and arrange interviews.
- Route each application to the central To A Tea Delis jobs address and the official hiring inbox for the selected store; applications marked “Either location” are routed to both Greenwood and Cleveland.
- Respond to business, catering, community, and employment questions.
- Send application and interview updates only when the applicant has separately opted in to SMS.
- Maintain consent, opt-out, security, and operational records.
- Measure aggregate application traffic and stage completion so we can identify confusing or inaccessible parts of the process.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our applicants, team, and business.
Application analytics and hiring decisions
We do not use clicks, time spent, response speed, traffic source, or geographic analytics to score, rank, accept, or reject an applicant. We do not use session replay, record keystrokes, collect precise GPS location, fingerprint a device, or use advertising pixels on the application. Analytics records are kept separate from applicant records and are not linked to a name, email address, telephone number, or application ID.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell or rent personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers that help deliver and support the text-message program, including messaging aggregators and platform providers.
SMS consent is optional, is limited to the stated To A Tea Delis hiring purpose, and is not a condition of submitting an application or being considered for employment. Message frequency varies based on application activity, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
Employee operational and scheduling texts
If a team member separately chooses to enroll in the To A Tea Delis employee text program, we use the mobile number and signed consent record only for work-related operational and scheduling communications. These may include shift schedules and changes, shift-coverage requests, store operational alerts, time-sensitive task reminders, and internal staff announcements. This program is separate from hiring updates and from the employment agreement; consent is not a condition of employment or completing onboarding.
Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Enrollment uses a separate unchecked Employee SMS Consent form; the public job application does not enroll an applicant in employee operations texts.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose information to employees and managers who need it for the purposes above; vendors that provide website hosting, data storage, security, applicant administration, and communications; professional advisers; government authorities when required by law; and a successor in a business transaction. These recipients may use information only for the relevant service or lawful purpose. Applicant data is copied from the secured website intake to an employer-controlled hiring database through an authenticated outbound synchronization process.
Retention and security
We generally retain application and hiring-decision records for at least one year from the record or related personnel action, whichever is later, and longer when a charge, claim, legal hold, or other law requires it. After Trinity confirms that an application has been stored in the employer-controlled hiring database, the public website removes the applicant's contact details, schedule, narrative answers, and screening-response details from its application record. Separate SMS consent and messaging evidence is retained as needed to demonstrate permission and opt-out compliance. Raw application-analytics events are scheduled for deletion after 90 days; de-identified aggregate metrics may be retained for up to 13 months. Keyed form-abuse counters stop affecting submissions after their 10-minute window and are removed on a later public-form request after 24 hours. We use access controls, encrypted transport, encryption for sensitive records stored in our local hiring database, restricted service credentials, and administrative safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may apply without opting in to SMS. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information where applicable by contacting us. You may also stop text messages at any time by replying STOP; after an opt-out confirmation, no further hiring-program messages will be sent unless you provide new consent.
Employment screening
The application includes job-related guest-service, teamwork, accuracy, arithmetic, time, and food-safety questions. A local manager reviews the complete application. No automated system makes the hiring decision, and no single answer automatically rejects an applicant. Accommodation information is not requested in the application and is handled separately when an applicant asks for assistance. See the Applicant Notices.
Third-party services and social feeds
Links and live social feeds may be provided by McAlister's Deli, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, X, maps, or other third parties. Their privacy practices apply when you choose to visit or load those services. This site does not load the Facebook or Instagram feed until you select “Load live feeds.”
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13. Employment applications are intended for individuals who meet the minimum age stated on the application and any higher age required for a particular role or task.
